Joining sectional modules
Both lock two seat modules of a corner sofa together; both are screwed to the module frame, and the modules come apart without undoing any screws. They work differently: in the alligator connector a spring-loaded pawl rides over the teeth and holds at the step where you release it; the bracket type has no moving parts — the raised bodies of two facing plates slot into each other. How many you need depends on the number of joints in the set.
