Why choose the spring-assisted type over the springless Deluxe Zero-Wall?
If the backrest has thick foam and is heavy, the lifting effort in the springless type can be tiring. The spring takes on part of that force and slows the closing action. If the backrest is light, the springless type is sufficient.
Can the spring tension be adjusted?
The spring is selected during production according to the backrest weight. Tell us the backrest weight in your project and we can manufacture with the appropriate spring.
What difference does the spring make to the zero-wall action?
It reduces the force needed at the start of the forward slide, so moving the mechanism becomes noticeably easier on armchairs with heavy backrests.
